VUE Makes List of “100 Powerful Web Tools to Organize Your Thoughts and Ideas”

VUE, the Visual Understanding Environment, has been named among an interesting list of contemporary tools that help people analyze, organize, and share information and manage time. See the Online College Blog's “100 Powerful Web Tools to Organize Your Thoughts and Ideas”. Funded through the Mellon Foundation and developed by UIT Academic Technology at Tufts with a team of colleagues from MIT and beyond, VUE is an open-source concept and content mapping tool used throughout the world to support teaching, learning, research, and general organization, analysis, and presentation of information within a context.

Categories in the "100 Powerful Web Tools" list include "Note-Taking and Documents," "Bookmarking," "Mind Mapping," "Personal Wikis," "Highlighters and Sticky Notes," "To-Do Lists," "Collaboration," "Calendars," "Time Trackers," and "General Organizers and Task Managers."
